How we went from IT services to data sovereignty.
Foundation
We start as an IT services provider in Thessaloniki. Small and medium businesses — Greek, family-owned, real.
Municipalities
14 years alongside Municipalities and public organizations. We learn firsthand what data security means when it involves citizens.
The Turning Point
NIS2 takes effect. GDPR gains teeth. The AI Act is coming. Our clients ask: 'Are we safe?' — and the answer isn't pretty.
Bytsecure Is Born
From the need for data sovereignty, we create Bytsecure. Three services on European infrastructure, with support and monitoring.
Today
We built our own private cloud — isolated, inside the EU, one per customer — and we run its cybersecurity: monitoring, detection, response. The six documents (ten including the NIS2 sectors) document what we already operate. And one team in Thessaloniki that picks up the phone.
Why Now
GDPR gained teeth. NIS2 is in force. The AI Act is coming. And the rules on electronic communications keep changing. In that landscape we are not consultants handing out certificates — we build and run your private cloud inside the EU, and the cybersecurity that protects both the cloud and your local network: the computers in your office.
